Sorry i misunderstood :)Rodionnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-494160638739613756.post-22691899324083587952012-07-01T17:07:54.510-04:002012-07-01T17:07:54.510-04:00The point was that I shouldn't have to read a ...The point was that I shouldn't have to read a comic book or a viral campaign to get the basics of something, not that I hate anything that makes me read other viewpoints. Cloverfield's entire gist was tied up in extra-diegetic marketing that I refuse to acknowledge. And there's NOTHING in Cloverfield worth analysis. I love all the reviews on this site because they really seem to speak for me, and Cloverfield is certainly not a great film. But to say that something is "crap" because you have to really think about it and collaborate with others to understand the full extent of it's meaning is just pure laziness (or stupidity?). <br />I really don't mean to be offensive but that comments really bothers me.Rodionnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-494160638739613756.post-9725993153807140312009-06-18T19:44:56.360-04:002009-06-18T19:44:56.360-04:00If you find the second season frustrating I would ...If you find the second season frustrating I would really urge you not to give up on the show. The writers had to tread water a bit while they were unsure how long the show would be going on -- they got a end-date mid-Season 3 -- but the season does lay a lot of ground for things that come later on.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-494160638739613756.post-36339982834198035202009-06-17T11:14:35.641-04:002009-06-17T11:14:35.641-04:00Along with Heroes, I sampled the first few episode...Along with Heroes, I sampled the first few episodes of Lost, and quickly lost (aha!) interest. I blame Joss Whedon for this, as he has conditioned me to find sub par characterization and wooly themes unacceptable. This has pretty much destroyed my ability to enjoy something like 95% of genre television. Even Battlestar Galactica has lost its appeal.
